St Philip Howard Science Department boasts four well equipped laboratories that can accommodate practical activities that are relevant to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.  We strongly believe that the use of practical activities can enhance learning at all levels and lessons are taught in this way wherever possible.

There are six members of staff within the Department. They are:

• Mr S Caswell - Teacher of Chemistry
• Miss K Knowles - Teacher of Physics
• Mrs E McGill - Teacher of Physics
• Mrs J Ward and Mrs T Mills - Laboratory Technicians.
